Placing ads at your favorite auction site is easy and fun. The first thing you need to do is create an account at the auction site(s) you wish to sell on.

Once you have created your account with the auction site you need to get familiar with the features and rules of the site before placing your first ad.

Once you are familiar with the auction site you can begin to place ads and sell merchandise. To start we suggest you open two browser windows one with our web site and the other with your auction site. A simple way to go between the two windows is by pressing your ALT button and hold it down while selecting the TAB button. By hitting the TAB button and releasing it you can scroll to the next open window.

Now that you have two browser windows open and have mastered switching from one window to the other you are ready to begin placing your ad.

The cut and paste instructions below use eBay for the auction site however the routine is pretty much the same for most auction sites.

There will be fields in your auction ad that we do not mention here. You should read the help information at the auction site regarding those fields. We will only be instructing you how to cut and paste our item description and how to upload the item picture or copy and paste the url for the item picture.

On the product detail page using your left mouse button press down and scroll from the top left down to the bottom right of the product description. With the text higlighted press your right mouse button and select copy from the menu. Now toggle over to your auction site window.		Put your cursor in the description field then with your right mouse button click and select paste. That's it your done. Now continue to the next step in your auction ad window.

Place your mouse cursor into the text area form field that contains the product description. Right click and select "Select All" from the menu then right click again and select "Copy" from the menu. Now toggle over to your auction site ad window.		Make sure you have selected the HTML option for your description field for your ad description field then place your cursor inside the description field and right click and select "Paste". That's it your done. Now continue on to the next step in your auction ad window.

Place your mouse cursor into the form field that contains the picture url. Right click and select "Select All" from the menu then right click again and select "Copy" from the menu. Now toggle over to your auction site ad window.		Place your cursor inside the picture web address field and right click and select "Paste". That's it your done. Now continue on to the next step in your auction ad window.

Using your right mouse button click on the picture and select "Save Picture As" then save the picture to you computer in a location where you can easily find it. Once the picture download has completed a window may appear that says "Open Folder" "Open File" "Close Window", select close window then toggle over to your auction ad window.		Select "Add Picture" under the option for picture hosting. a window will open displaying the contents of your hard drive (see step three).

Now locate the picture you just downloaded to your computer and double click it with your left mouse button. The file will be uploaded to the auction site server once you have completed this section of the ad form.
